Greetings, citizens.

Might I inquire as to our current location, as well as the current date and time?

It seems that my traveling companion and I have gone off course, and we no longer recognize our surroundings. Though they do appear to be earth-like.

I see. I have attempted to contact my ship, but my attempts were unsuccessful. I assumed that there was interference in the atmosphere.

There might be, I know if you try and fly out of here something stops you a few miles offshore, either through technical failure or some kind of barrier.
