Why is being pregnant something interesting? The majority of the female population can do that. Unless you can't here, of course.

F'nor, buy the women with the long lives.

And someone you find half interesting.

If you would set aside the sarcasm and teach me something it might be more productive for both of us. But if you'd rather throw around comments with the intent to frustrate me, you will need to keep trying.

I have a feeling that speaking to you is going to be a bit like trying to do sign language though a hole in a bathroom wall. Being on the other side, you'll be confused and alienated -- especially when you just showed up to suck in the first place.

But what the hell. I have plans all lined up to take out my aggression later, so let's put on some classics and we'll have a little dance, shall we?

Women are raised in a society that beats into their skulls that they need to define themselves by our men, our relationships with men, our families and our children. Everything is structured to keep women in that role of nurturer, or that object to be desired (but never in control of her own sexuality) -- we're treated as though we all think the same, want the same things and must adhere to specific social ideas and ideals and --- that's it. You can't fucking blame us for the shit they have to put up with and the oppressive, limiting, constricting patriarchal world around us that tells us what to talk about and what we should think important. It's not fair.

By the egg, F'lar, you shouldn't have to put up with this.

We're having a dialogue, F'nor.

Is that what you call it?

Of course, you do have a soft-spot for impossible women.

It's thrilling. Lessa has a penchant for unpredictable reactions.

Unpredictable? Ha, that's for sure.

Okay, then my error is in belittling women and their pregnancies when women are conditioned to think it's the only thing they're good for.

And the alternate path is to say nothing, or encourage them to... expand their horizons?

I'd stick to saying nothing. We don't need men telling us what to "expand", we really do get enough of that.

Very well.
