My good friend Mr. Gatsby has gone away.

I know he was also a friend to a few of you, so I just wanted to inform you that he is no longer here. He left me a note to say so.

That is all.

A door? Like the happy fun land door? Because if so, he can come back though it again, it's not a one-way thing.

Aye, sorry, this is me trying to help. I'll get to the sympathy part once I've got the full story etc.

I don't know, sir. He didn't sound as though he intended to come back.

I realise that, and I'm sorry for snapping at you.

If it's just a door like that one, you can go through it after him, if you want to. If it's one of those ghost-into-afterlife doors then I think it's a bit more complicated. I didn't think he was a ghost, though?

That was hardly snapping. Don't worry yourself.

I don't think he wanted me to go. I think he intended to do it on his own. Which is fair. I am not his unfinished business, after all.
