There's a new door. I've seen- it's dangerous, I wouldn't go. For those of you who aren't familiar with our human history, there's a war behind the door. Don't go through.

Ah. I've heard of that conflict since I arrived here. Nasty business that, I'm sure I had cousins who served.

Yes, very nasty indeed. I wouldn't want anyone to go wandering out there out of curiosity. Yes, I'm sure my grandfather served, although I don't think it was in France.

From what I've seen of how it developed I doubt I would have served unless given a pressing reason, what a bloody useless conflict and waste of so many young lives. My talents would have been wasted in France even if I could have been talked into service.

I'll admit to being curious, but I have responsibilities here.
