Ulmo's grace.

I know not what comfort to offer you.

Will you go to her?

She wants me not.

Such grief! Surely that is not so..

Are the hearts of .. nay, nay it is no fault of hers or yours.

The hearts of men are not fickle, as you were to say, but they can be turned to another.

That is likely what has happened, what should have happened.

She is so beautiful! And I speak not of her face, cousin, though it makes me weak as well.

Aye, that is what I intended to say. How do you know? Has she said so to you?

You may read our conversation on the network, and see for yourself how cold she is, how she pushes me away.

[...]

I've read it. My heart hurts for you! But I urge you speak with her, frankly, when you have the mind or strength to do so. She's said nothing of another love.

But would knowing hurt you more or less, I wonder?

To know that she loved another would rend my heart in two, yet also give me joy that she has found happiness.

Not to know, I think, would be crueler.

Then when you have the will to do it, speak to her and see. For knowing, I think, may give you closure and you may bear your memories to green pastures.

I cannot stop weeping, Turukáno.

I can barely see to type this.

I fear grief may take me.

No! Have strength. You don't know for certain, and so you must hope. There's still that.

Aye, hope will see us through.

It must.
