There are six generations of my family on this island. I find it the most remarkable thing as in my time I would not have the opportunity to learn of the following three generations. I have found my descendents to be remarkable; very insightful, thoughtful intelligent people.

They make me proud.

You all make me proud.

I am glad to know you, even for such a short time as this, however long we should call this island home.

That's actually pretty cool. To get to see that much of your family at one time. Kind of wish I could. not Howard though

Aye; I will know my grandson until his 7th birthday, and then my city will fall and I will die with it. But he is here with his mother, and his own son has come and with him a child.

It is truly a beautiful thing.

If I can ask, why did he call you Lord Turgon? Did you have a body switch experience like Mitchell and AJ?

Indeed; it seemed that during a conversation with Lady Maryanne, the island took my request to be a woman rather literally. I am glad though, that the switch occurred with my wife. I know her body better than I know my own.

That's very fortunate.

Aye. I would not wish to be in charge of the body of someone who did not trust me absolutely and completely. For it is not my wellbeing that is in danger, but theirs.

And I have the utmost respect for my wife, and she for me.

I am glad for this experience; to know so intimately what she is like, far beyond what I already know from our years together.

Knowing someone isn't the same as knowing what it's like to be them that's for sure. Like, I'm pretty sure I know AJ pretty well, but I still don't know what it's like to be in her body. I don't know what she feels or sees or hears.

I love her very much and I know her body pretty well, at least I think so, but I still have no clue what it's like to actually be her.

And aye, and never shall you know! Your lady is more than her body. As is Nyara. I do not think it possible to truly know what it is like to be another, for we do not think, act, perceive, or dream the same and cannot ever. When Nyara tells me she loves mangoes I do not know what she means, only that she eats many of them and finds them delightful.

I do not eat mangoes as much, and that does not change though I am in her body.

But it is interesting to see how different men are to women. I think all men ought be required to live the life of a woman for even a week. Perhaps we all shall come to understand their difficulties and work to correct them. I was so blind before now, and I am so glad to have my eyes opened.

Unless someone can shrink me down and put me into her mind, I'll never truly know her. That much I can understand. She and I are very different in many ways, but we're also similar.

I do know that her being in my life has changed me for the better. I'm a much different person now than I was before we met and I wouldn't take back any of it. I am a better, richer person for having her in my life.

I think living as a woman for a week would be interesting, depending on the week.

Why would it depend on the week?

Because of all of the things that women have to go through, menstruation is not one I want to experience.

Ah, you are taught to be ashamed of it? It is a natural body process in my understanding. But we are elves and many things are different, I suppose. Without it my daughter would not be here, and so I am glad for all things.

I'm not ashamed of it, I just don't want to experience it. The cramps and the bloating and the whole nonsense that goes with it.

By asking questions. I find the more I ask.. the more impatient some grow and the more defensive.
