I have heard tell from the other ladies that there is a pill that I may take to make it impossible for me to conceive. Is this true, or just a legend?

For I should dearly like to have some of these pills if they are real. I cannot (nor do I wish!) to refuse my husband forever, but I am not ready for another child.

There is a pill, it's something you have to take everyday. It can change your 'lady's days' a bit. There is also an injection that you can get that you don't have to worry about it save for every three months. And there's an implant that they can put in your arm that will prevent you from being able to conceive for up to three years.

There are also things that he can wear. If you would rather try that first.

	An injection? What is that? I fear I would forget something I had to take every day, but I do not know that I want to wait three years. Oh. I...I have heard of such things, but I don't think either of us would like them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	If you have three years in mind, the most effective contraceptive for you is going to be the implant. It is a small plastic strip, inserted under the skin in your arm. 	I apologise, I misunderstood. I thought that you meant to wait three years. In that case, you should know that the implant can be removed at any time, and you will be fertile again immediately. With the pill, it can take some months to get out of your system. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
