I'm going to be 14!

I'm a little sad that Momma isn't here for this one either, and I miss Matt too. But I think she'd be glad that I was able to be 14. I'm glad to be here with you guys though.

I don't know if everybody will fit in the cafe. I think the park would be better, now that it's warm and pretty out most days.

Maybe Miss Applejack will get her horsie friend to let people ride her...

That sounds like a great party. I'm going to track down some balloons and some streamers and stuff. You can't have a birthday party without balloons and streamers.

That would be really great! That way people know where it is and can't miss it.

Shall we organise something together?

That sounds like a good idea. She definitely should have a great party.

She said she'd like to have it in the park but I think you saw that. I'm going to look for balloons and streamers. Maybe Briseis can make a cake or something? I really don't know what girls her age like. She doesn't seem like the typical pink froufrou kind of girl to me.

Cake, yeah. Barbecue, maybe. Barbecue is always good. And if the weather is bad, we could go bowling if we find a place.

And she really isn't.

Barbecue sounds like a good idea, definitely. Isabel's from Texas so she knows all about that stuff.

Do you want to go looking and see if we can find a bowling alley around here? Just in case?

I was thinking like purple and blue and green balloons and stuff. And I kind of already got her her present so now I have to come up with something else.

Yeah, I'll see if I find one. You never know.

Good. She wants a puppy or a kitten. I told her it was very unresponsible. So now, I can have a real surprise when I get her one. You can go for something that you need for a puppy or kitten. Though it might end up being just a dog or a cat. Let's see. Whatever I can find.
