Ah, it is not, and God has granted me two very lovely women to spend my days with that can look past what other people could not.

Monsieur, I come from the year 1881. Though I'm sure the Franco-Prussian war left many people disfigured, I cannot say I saw them for myself. The only thing I am sure of is the fact I was born the way I am.

Ah, I see. I was not born until 1890, myself. I know very well that one cannot help the circumstances of their birth.
