Long story short: You've been snatched by a magical island ~~or read into it by a little girl~~ that seems to grab people from any dimension/time/planet you can possibly think of. You'll have characters from literature or television rubbing shoulders with people from many different time periods.

Nobody's found a way to leave, and bad shit tends to happen to you if you get too close to the giant stone tower at the center of the city.

	It's a famous set of novels where I come from, describing a place called Middle Earth. It invented the fantasy genre, really. There are a fair number of humans from there as well and even a halfling, I think you'd get along well with them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
