So I wanted to have an engagement party at pub. I'd love to say we do, but I know Mitchell's only letting me to make me happy. I need ideas, help and to know who fancies coming, so this is me begging for help please.

	It's actually me asking you to reach out to her because right now the only female she's associated with is my fiancee. That I know of, anyway. 	To be honest, everyone's invited to the party, but as far as the wedding's concerned, Mitchell, me, George and Nina to be witnesses I'm happy. I wanted a big wedding before, but I think that's because I was hiding from the idea of actually being married. This time...doesn't scare me. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I understand. I am not truly a fan of large weddings, I think they should be more personal than that, and as you say, perhaps with a party before or after to celebrate with your friends.

My wedding...ai, there were thousands of people there, and even the Valar came. With all the well-wishers, I barely had a moment to speak to my husband, and even then it felt so...distant, perhaps?

Yes, I understand that.

And even in my world, my husband and I found a way around it. See, in my world, you can be married in a wedding, as humans often are, or you can take it in your own hands, pledge your love before Eru, and consummate your love, physically. That counts as a marriage as well.

So technically, my Sara and I were married three months before our wedding ever took place, just the two of us. It was lovely.
