Fail! Filter to Avenger types, and X-men types, and their Nemesis
(ooc: Which basically means The Avenger/Xmen(and Loki) sort know it's to them, but everyone else can see it too.)

Okay the ruler of the world thing was cute when Tony did it. And almost cute when Grumpy McGrumppants did it. But now it's getting a little worrisome.

I know we're mostly from the same 'world', and I use that loosely because we could all be from different times or even different 'universes', but we all have one thing in common. We've all dealt with types like this before.

Loki I included you, because you tried to get through to them, and it seems like those pretty pointy ears are only for show.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is, do we need to plan on taking up those mantels again? Do I need to search Bruce's clinic/invention space and see if he came up with a few uniforms? He talked about it on the train, I just never thought to ask about them.

I don't like the idea of some douche bag, that thinks just because he lives a long life that he's better than us, trying to rule this place. And I'll be damned if my son has to grow up with some tyrannical wannabe trying to dictate how he should live.

Gentlemen, Ladies, this has got passed the cute phase. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that thinks so.

Cease this at once. Do you not see your idiocy?

What idiocy? The kid wants to prove how good he is, I'm going to let him test that theory.

Don't worry, I won't kill him. yet

Nay you won't. I am his brother and if you have a fight you will take up arms with me.

Then teach him his place.

Aye, the lesson is mine to teach him. Not yours. Cease at once your fight.

Nothing has started yet. Keep a leash on him and we've no issues. The boy's mouth is writing checks he can't cash.

You call him boy.

It is your nature to hold children accountable for the deeds of men?

Anyone who acts like he does doesn't deserve the title 'Man', or adult in his case, regardless of age. If I thought he was mature enough for the title I wouldn't have stipulated that the fight wasn't to his the death.

Most people are like children to me these days. There are times I feel too damn old.

Aye, but he is not a Man. He is an Elf, and that is a distinction always made. How many years are you?

Elf. Man. Whatever.

495. I've seen loved ones grow old and die, empires rise and fall, two wars on a scale so vast and destructive you couldn't possibly imagine.

Oh I can, I have led such a war for the last 530 years alone. You are younger than the distance between ages than my brother and I and he is still older.

Such lessons are indeed not yours to teach him, you are a veritable child in our eyes, but your bravery ought be noted no less.

530 years? Constant warfare or were there gaps in between?

If your brother is so old then was he dropped on his head as a child? It would explain a lot.

The wars I spoke of left continents in ruins and saw the development of weapons that could vaporize entire cities in an instant. All war is terrible though, it is just that technology makes them ever more destructive. Settling things with naked blades is positively civilized by comparison.

He numbers Five of Seven, he is our most spoiled save the twins who follow him.

I would not tell you of our wars over this strange device. The tales are long and words written in mere minutes cannot do them justice. Know only that we have defied and fought Gods and their servants for 500 years.

I'd offer to buy you a drink but money's no good here. One of these days we can sit down over some adult beverages and compare notes if you feel like it.

We don't have gods where I come from, or at least not ones that take any interest in things as far as I can tell.

Of course. When you've adjusted we'll have a drink or two.

I don't believe any of your kin save your younger brother have been here long, if you have questions they can't answer let me know.
