Fail! Filter to Avenger types, and X-men types, and their Nemesis
(ooc: Which basically means The Avenger/Xmen(and Loki) sort know it's to them, but everyone else can see it too.)

Okay the ruler of the world thing was cute when Tony did it. And almost cute when Grumpy McGrumppants did it. But now it's getting a little worrisome.

I know we're mostly from the same 'world', and I use that loosely because we could all be from different times or even different 'universes', but we all have one thing in common. We've all dealt with types like this before.

Loki I included you, because you tried to get through to them, and it seems like those pretty pointy ears are only for show.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is, do we need to plan on taking up those mantels again? Do I need to search Bruce's clinic/invention space and see if he came up with a few uniforms? He talked about it on the train, I just never thought to ask about them.

I don't like the idea of some douche bag, that thinks just because he lives a long life that he's better than us, trying to rule this place. And I'll be damned if my son has to grow up with some tyrannical wannabe trying to dictate how he should live.

Gentlemen, Ladies, this has got passed the cute phase. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one that thinks so.

I don't know who you are either, honey. All I see is some jackass that's trying to take over a place I call home. And I'll be damned if I stand by and let it happen.

You should see more than just men when you look at people who aren't your own kin. Because some of us have fought off tougher adversaries than people with fair skin and pointy ears.

If you can be roused to suspicion and fear by mere words alone then you are indeed in need of guidance

I care not that you are of the race of Men -

I care only that you would call to arms against the words of a lone Elf
Spoken precisely to anger and taunt you
You play into his hands beautifully and i would applaud him for it if it did not irritate me so

Do you want to just tell him to stop being a fucking twat, then?

Hardly fear sugar. There isn't a being on this island that strikes fear in my heart. It's called taking precautions. Or are you saying I should wait until someone comes along who's a little more than a pebble in your shoe?

Please cease addressing me in such familiar terms my lady
We are not kin or lovers and such terms are disrespectful

Maedhros is my name and it will suit in place of all else

I care not what you do or what threats you feel you needs must protect yourself from
Do as you will but if you should come for my brother out of suspicion and aye fear i will not stand by and watch it happen

And if it's in my custom to address people I don't know in such an unfamiliar way, because, you see, using someone's first name is far more familiar than anything else I've used to address you yet, asking me to do otherwise is pretty disrespectful. What do you say to that?

Because of your, and your brother's ignorance you wont see me coming. But as long as he stays as pretty as he looks, ya'll don't have anything to worry about sweetheart.

It is not my first name as I have none. It is a name I chose for myself because you would not understand my name as it is written or spoken in my language. Therefore it is a mutual ground. If you cannot understand that then we have no need to speak further, as I'll not waste the effort it takes to educate you.

See that 'You're all dumb as bricks' attitude that you seem to have is where we're going to hit a wall.

I don't need to understand someone's name to speak it. I don't have to know the definition, just need to know the pronunciation. Because believe it or not, I know we people that look like 'men' to you might seem rather stupid, but I can actually speak four different languages and understand seven. One of the seven I've actually been teaching myself since I got here.

So don't assume anything about me, I don't want you making an Ass out of both of us, Maedhros. Because you're pretty good at making one out of yourself all by yourself.
