Monsieur, I would be interested in hearing more about these...contraceptives.

Okay, well there are many different methods of contraception. As for what I can do on the island, there are plenty of condoms, two types of pill, an injection, an implant, a patch, a vaginal ring, or a diaphragm. You can read a little about each of them here, and I can provide some further information and advice once you have a better idea of the sort of thing you would like.

If you would like a recommendation to narrow it down, the pill is the most common in my time, and I've found the implant to be highly effective.

Medical science has certainly come quite far.

I believe the pill would work best. I would not forget to remind her to take it, and condoms sound as if they would...take away from the pleasure.

Are there any tests that she will have to submit to?

Yes, indeed, and yet we still have a long way to go.

Wonderful. She will have to come in just for a short chat about her medical history to make sure it won't do her any harm, and I will do a pregnancy test, just because we have to make sure there is no chance she is already pregnant, and take her blood pressure (a non-invasive, non-painful test that will take only minutes.) Does that sound okay?

Yes, monsieur. It sounds simple enough. When shall we come by for this appointment?

Whenever suits, we're not particularly busy at the moment. Perhaps an afternoon this week? Sherlock's worse in
