All right?

Since things have been sketchy as fuck, and we've lost a load of people as well as gained some new faces- and the night club has been lying empty since the new years party- I thought we could all enjoy a wee get-together.

Since I'm more used to delegating than actually doing anything, one of our new residents you may have heard of, Jay Gatsby, is going to be taking over the club for the evening of Saturday March 23rd. He'll be entertaining you all with some jazz and gin and whatever else they did in the 1920s, I don't know, but it'll be a fucking good night, yeah? Oh, and in his own words, the dress code is "no riff raff".

If anyone wants to contribute anything- or has any questions- you can either pass them through me, or ask him directly. Or I'm sure Mr Carraway will eagerly answer just about anything, as well.

Cheers,
Malc

[ooc: Malcolm has also put up a poster in the foyer of each apartment building, one on the door to the night club, and one on the noticeboard in the pub. It looks like this, but obviously with the information changed to be accurate.]

I... did not understand very much of that. Je suis désolé. Whooshed?

But it sounds as if I do not need to know in any case, correct?

Yeah, whoosh! It's the sound something makes as it goes flying past you, yeah? It just means- it moved really fast. Whooshed.

No, it's really, really not important in the slightest.

Just for lols, this is what that passage becomes after a couple of goes through Google Translate:

This is really not something you need to know about, there are a lot of shit and no modern man would use more fucked. Basically, the logs are persistent, and if you want to keep a copy of a newspaper, it will crumble and eventually disintegrate. Thus, archivists decided to sort of make a copy, a kind of photography, where now you can google and pull the paper easily, you used to have to look through all copies of a screen all whooshed very quickly and gave headaches fucking stop and had to keep looking to see what date you were and all that. As I said, it's a bunch of crap nobody today would use, so it is not important.
