All right?

Since things have been sketchy as fuck, and we've lost a load of people as well as gained some new faces- and the night club has been lying empty since the new years party- I thought we could all enjoy a wee get-together.

Since I'm more used to delegating than actually doing anything, one of our new residents you may have heard of, Jay Gatsby, is going to be taking over the club for the evening of Saturday March 23rd. He'll be entertaining you all with some jazz and gin and whatever else they did in the 1920s, I don't know, but it'll be a fucking good night, yeah? Oh, and in his own words, the dress code is "no riff raff".

If anyone wants to contribute anything- or has any questions- you can either pass them through me, or ask him directly. Or I'm sure Mr Carraway will eagerly answer just about anything, as well.

Cheers,
Malc

[ooc: Malcolm has also put up a poster in the foyer of each apartment building, one on the door to the night club, and one on the noticeboard in the pub. It looks like this, but obviously with the information changed to be accurate.]

You have no idea how tempted I am to slaughter most of the population of this island most days. But Elena wouldn't like it. It would stress her out and stress is bad for the baby apparently. So no killing for Damon. But, y'know, hit me up if you ever do decide to go on a rampage. She might not count it as my fault if I'm just assisting a crazed, Scottish politician.

Christ, is that just how it always works? Grey's stress levels are the whole reason for holding back, and she doesn't even have the pregnancy excuse. But considering her whole reason seems to be that someone will kill me first, maybe having you on board will mean it doesn't count for me, either. You may have hit on a mutual solution.

I've ran out of reasons to hold back. I'll see if Grey considers it an acceptable compromise and let you know. Because yeah, I'm just that whipped.

I can't say anything. Elena has me wrapped around her little finger. What can you do? Can't live with them, can't piss 'em off or they'll kick your ass to the curb and force you to live without them until they've made their point.

Just got to play by their rules and hope for the best.

Doesn't everything come down to the love of a woman?
