My dear Gatsby informed me that these things don't need paper but I'll be damned if I can work out how one is supposed to be able to communicate with others without handing them the correspondence. Gatsby supposed it is something to do with wires and I am very much inclined to believe him, though my opinion of him has always lead to somewhat of a bias regarding his ideas.

I can't quite get the hang of these mice, either. Suffice to say the going has been slow and we are yet to work out the true nature of our location. I will not hold my breath that this reaches anyone other than myself and perhaps my dear friend should he peer over my shoulder.

Good day.

Yes, many decades have passed since my time. The future is as vast and terrifying as we always imagined.

And you are a decade closer to them than I was before I arrived here. Terrifying? I think it is marvelous. So much information at our fingertips. Why, they've even mapped the entire Valley of the Kings and placed the contents online!
