Are there any ghosts out there that would be willing to be subjected to a few scans so that I could get started on an experiment? It won't hurt a bit and all you have to do is stand there and look pretty.

And for that matter, anyone who isn't a plain old regular human being would be greatly appreciated. I promise that it is strictly for informational purposes. I love it when I don't know things. I'm weird like that.

Hell Tony, I've been poked and prodded enough in my life. Why not? Since Bruce has gone mi Might as well have someone around here that knows what's going on with my mutation.

As long as you don't tease me if I have to cover my eyes if any needles are used.

No needles. Maybe a tiny pin prick and that's about it.

Are Jedi included in not being a regular human?

Yes, actually. Based on the information that I'd managed to gather about Jedi a few years ago.

I also wanted to ask you some questions about Force healing. If you're familiar with that area. I know that different Jedi specialize in different things.

I have an electromagnet keeping shrapnel out of my heart. Both my mother and my girlfriend have an issue with the fact that the shrapnel is still in there but conventional medicine from my time can't remove it. So maybe the Force can? Anything I just need to stop getting weird looks from my mom and worried looks from my girlfriend.

I had wondered why that was there, but didn't wish to be too intrusive.

I suppose I could try. It may be quite painful, I don't think I could dissolve the shrapnel.

I can handle a bit of pain. I'm just tired of having to explain it. And I don't want to be afraid all the time. The spire messed with it earlier and if it hadn't started up again, I'd have been dead. Living with that isn't easy.

Do you still have those medi packs I gave you? For the run in the jail? We may need them. I do not think this can be done without its risks.

And it may be best to do one at a time, other wise your heart may not be able to take the stress it puts on your body.

I do still have them. And one at a time is fine. I can do a scan and find out exactly how many are in there.

I would like to be present when you do the scan, if that's acceptable. So that I might see where they are exactly, rather than simply go by feel.

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]aedwardstark

Absolutely not. There might be a little pin prick for a single drop of blood, but that's about it. Since I can't get blood from ghosts, those tests are out of the question, obviously.

[info]aedwardstark

I'm really just doing some information gathering. Having the information would be helpful to the doctors should any of them need medical attention. I know that certain non regular humans might need different medical care than regular humans.

As far as scan goes, JARVIS is equipped with bio-metric scanners that are a bit like an MRI, only better. No enclosed spaces, you just stand still and he does the rest.

I'm not a ghost. As far as I know, I'm completely human. But there was- an incident, and things haven't been exactly normal since then. Would you be able to see if something's- changed?

I can certainly check to see if there's something that doesn't fit into normal human physiology. Without a prior scan I won't know for sure what has changed.
