Good evening.

My name is Edmund Pevensie, and I have a couple of favours to ask. I do hope someone will be able to help, and that you don't think I'm being too forward.

I noticed that there are horses in the parks. Do they belong to anyone? They seem tame enough, but I didn't like to presume. I spoke to one of them but they didn't answer back. If they do belong to anyone, would it be alright to go horse-riding from time to time? I do know how to take care of horses, please don't worry about that.

I would also like to enquire about the possibility of finding a sparring partner. Sword-fighting, mainly.

Thank you very much,

Yours sincerely,

Edmund.

Mr Leyton,

Thank you for the information regarding horses.

I do fence, yes, although I'm afraid that only my broadsword is here.

Edmund,

I see that you've managed to find help with the horses! It's good. If you're accustomed to riding at home, it's strange not to be able to do it.

Between us Mr Darcy and I can lend you everything you need for fencing, I'm sure. Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm not sure using an actual broadsword for sparring is the best idea when there are safer options. Have you a wooden one, at least, for practice?

- Leyton
