Is this like some sort of Facebook? I never had a Facebook before now. I did have Pokémon Go, but I can't seem to get it here. And I know it's nothing like Facebook anyway, but

Hello, I'm Steven. I'm new here. I mean, obviously I'm new or I wouldn't be telling everyone my name, would I?

Peter helped me yesterday when I arrived (Thank you, Peter!) and now I have a new flat and I want to go home all my books are here, and even Gus!

This is Gus.

Laters, gators!

I like YouTube! Thanks, Maryanne.

Oh, he looks brilliant, I bet he's a good boy! I'm going to show him and Thalia to Gus right now.

You're very welcome. Google works as well, but whatever you do, and I hope this doesn't tempt you, don't google yourself. Somebody who doesn't know what google is It never ends well.

He is a very good boy. Especially if you have pizza. And if you would like to take Gus for a walk, I'm sure one of our brilliant minds could fashion you something.

Oh, I wouldn't be on Google anyway. I just work in a gift shop, I haven't done anything, you know?

You mean like a fish tank on wheels?

There was a man in Covent Gardens who used to walk seven ferrets! All seven of them on leads, bouncing along! Can you imagine? It made me laugh, I can tell you.

I get you, but always better safe than sorry.

Yes, but with a stabilizer so his water doesn't slosh.

Oh, that sounds insane, but definitely fun to watch.

I wonder if Gus would like that, or would it be scary?

They looked like furry slinkies.

The only way to know is to make it happen one day. Even fish have a way of letting you know.

Were they behaved, or wild?

Gus is clever, he'd work out how to let me know. I know he would.

They were tame, but very lively. The leads kept getting plaited together.

I don't doubt that he will. And I'll let you in on a little secret, the animals that are brought here, not the ones that are born here, except the unicorns, live a lot longer than they would have on earth.

They sound like little slinky dogs.

There are unicorns here? Seriously?

Yes there are. I wouldn't advise looking for them alone, though, because it's baby season, and they get stabby during baby season.

I can see them? I mean, I wouldn't go looking, I wouldn't want to disturb them at all, especially if they have foals, but I could actually see a real live unicorn? Wow.

You could absolutely see a real live unicorn. And a living breathing T-rex, along with quite a few other dinosaurs. But for that I would have to request that you go with me, or some of the other hunters, for your safety.

Oh shit, yeah, no, I get it, yeah.

Dinosaurs. In space.

It sounds like a really bad sci-fi movie. But yes.

Have you met Katherine yet? She does have some tame raptors, and a few other critters some are mythological, some are fantasy, and some are just... well you'd have to see them. I could be wrong but I think she may have one of the horses from the four riders of the apocalypse

You should! That would be fantastic! If they would like it, that is. Would they like to go for a walk like that? I wouldn't like to upset them all.

I think they might, and they wouldn't be shy about letting me know if they objected!

Uh, not them telling you off. I mean the six of them going for a walk. That's what I'd like to see, yeah.
