I've stopped affecting the weather, I'm happy to say. I think I come away with a better understanding for the pressure my sister must have felt. It is not an easy gift to control, you must first be in control of your own emotions.

My own gift has not returned. I don't know what that means. I never thought that I'd miss

Or you have no gift at the moment. The island used to take my connection from the force from me at times. It was difficult, but I always had a new appreciation for the force afterwards.

It is funny you should say that. I was just thinking that I missed it, which is strange to me as I had (before I came here) been thinking of it as a curse and not a gift. I think if it does come back again, I might appreciate it more.

Knowing this place, you will probably get your gift back. I wish I had been paying more attention to when all this started, I'd be able to give you an approximate date when you should expect to go back to normal. Usually it's around a month. But Clint was a woman for over a y

If it gets too quiet the TV might help. Or you could use youtube on your phone. A very good friend turned my on to the band Halestorm when I was going crazy without my powers.

Oh yes, I am no stranger to the television, but I don't know what a youtube is.

Dan Torrance has given me a lot of music, and headphones. I usually use it to drown out the noise, I never thought I'd be doing it to drown out silence.

Youtube is a website, or an application like the camera on your phone. Do you know how to use the internet?

Space is a quiet place. More than most realize, and they wont ever realize. Only people like you and mewill realize just how quiet it is when your gift is silent.

Well, you just have to be able to know how to open the program that brings it up. If you can do that there's a space at the top where you can type in stuff, just type in www.youtube.com, and press go. And after that it should open the page, and at the top of that page is a 'search bar' signified with a magnifying glass. You can search for songs from Columbia if you like.

I don't doubt you will. But I can't help that I want to try to make it as easy as possible to endure. As I said before, you deserve to be praised and exalted, I haven't changed my mind.

You might even be able to find tv shows, if the networks kept recordings, or a random person somewhere in the country kept a recording, it'll probably be on youtube.

You don't have to do anything amazing, because you are amazing. You're a kind, warm person, and that is enough.

From what I understand they're supposed to be a lot better than American Soap Operas. Makes me wish I were young enough to take Spanish. They seem safe

I haven’t seen any American ones to compare, but they are really addictive. Like you know the plot is ridiculous, but at the same time you really must know what happens!

Well, you are not too old to learn. I can teach you, if you would like. And in the meantime, there must be a way to get subtitles because I got Leyton watching them too.

I know, it just takes some getting used to.

If you want to compare look for Guiding light, as the World Turns, The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, or the Young and the Restless. They mostly rehash old storylines every decade or so, but those where my Grandmothers 'stories'. I know one time I was at her house, and only somewhat paying attention, I guess one actor quit and they replaced him so the character had a really bad accident and had to get total face reconstructive surgery.

Really?? Is there anything I can do to repay you? I used to teach music class, and currently only have one student. Or I used to teach Dance class too.

I kinda know how that feels.

You're welcome, there are more, I think, but those are the only ones I got at least a glimpse of. It is! I was sitting trying to learn how to sew better, and it was enough to make me stop and gasp.

Well, I mostly teach string instruments, but if you don't know how to read music I can teach you both clefs and if you want to learn a woodwind, brass instrument, or drums that might have to fall to one of my kiddos.
