It is not so bad as I thought. I cannot write, I am speaking to my phone now, but I will not lose my arm, and by Asharai I will heal and not fall to the wound fever.

You must visit me, all of you, even if you avoid one another in your feuding. The pain - the pain is bad, but I must bear it, because I have seen too many half-drowned in taishel-syrup and never the same in the mind after their bodies healed. The medics here are too quick to press for these things! I am not so damaged to be left to that!

Tell me you are reading this and you are not hurt, and nothing worse came of this. You are all blameless to me. It happened because it was seen to happen, and we are all powerless before the magic that underpins the world.

	Not if it is to the time I came from. Kordala is in a bad way. We were invaded, and the battle has been very long and very difficult. It would be more dangerous there than it was in France. 	I'm sure that you could, but I wouldn't want to put any of the people here at risk, and none of you speak Kordalan, so you might be in danger from both sides if we were separated. But we mustn't worry, a door is very unlikely, yes? I think I would like to visit an uninteresting country, if it is a peaceful one. It would probably be restful. (Reply to this) (Parent)
