Are you actually ahead of me, Sixsmith?

Darling, I've had a lot more practice.

Why did you do it?

The Internet as a source of knowledge is infinitely fascinating to me, considering the world and technology when I died. I know I have a science brain, it doesn't interest you as much to poke through the odd details and the progression of techonological understanding. When I was in the army a lot of the other men brought various types of porn into the trenches with us. Pictures, photographs, some literature. When I died they were mass producing long films. I was too old at the time to really want anything to do with that, but the notion of sex and sexual freedom had progressed so much since you'd passed away.

I thought so often that if you had remained alive, if we hadn't been parted we could have lived together so happily. We could have grown old together. We could have openly loved each other. But I know it wouldn't have worked out that way, anyway

Being here and knowing that men can marry each other, that there are couples who can walk around hand in hand when we could not, I wondered at the advances of sexuality elsewhere. What other taboos might have been discarded as old fashioned.

It isn't pretty, my love. I have discovered some very nasty things. It isn't...well, I am an old fashioned man, still, but it lacks the romance that appeals to me.

Sorry. This is a very long winded ramble.

I've always loved you in my own fashion, Sixsmith. Conventions be damned.

But how about I pour us a glass of wine and I listen to you 'ramble' some more?
