I know things are weird and sort of awful but if anyone needs some levity; I just did some laundry and matched up every single sock in this apartment. All of them. Even the baby ones.

Is this what being a god feels like?

When I was young, Papa never managed to match up my socks. So I would say you'd at least outdone him.

Don't mix white and red and if the seam annoys your toes it's totally legal to wear them inside out. Those socks deserve the shame.

Oh absolutely. Comfort is paramount in sock society, but patterns matter too. Fuzzy Christmas socks are king. You've got those nice soft ones that have the cool design? Tose are your nobles and knights. Everyday reliables: peasants. Once they get holey, lower class.

Anything that's been worn with a sandal has unfortunately been cast out and must live in solitude.

Armor is what you wear to fight. Space suits are what we have to wear to go outside the station.

It might be easier for one of your friends to just show you what clothes are next time you see them.
