	I had some issues with my magic as well. I've seen the same with others. We always had some strange issues happening. I hope it's just that. They usually don't last too long. 	It might have something to do with recent events. I'm not sure... Either way. Unsettling. [Kat] It was my "sister" Velouria. She and I are... estranged. 	Quite. I'm able to do some telepathy but it's usually 1 to 1 and initiated and some thought-scan but it's a conscious effort and quite obvious to ~~victim~~ subject. This is more like... catching whispers in the wind. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I am not offended and rather correcting the use of language. As I understand my Low Gothic, a "person" is a member of the species of man. There are words in Aeldarri for members of our kind and a distinctly different set of words for yours. I am not, therefore, a person.
You could infer, I suppose, that because I do not wish to be referred to as a person that I may consider myself to be "more" or "superior" but that is not my intent.

Irrespective of that particular debate, I can hear the voices of my ancestors and those I carry on my journey in my mind. Alongside those I have heard... errant thoughts of those outside of those I expect.

Oh, right. I guess I wouldn't be a person then either. But for me the term person simply refers to a being that is intelligent and part of civilisation. Where I grew up... if you would get to nit-picky about terminology like that a conversation would end up impossible. But if you dislike the word 'person', what should I call you instead?

Maybe you've collected some extra people for your journey? I mean, I can't even pretend to understand what you are talking about.

Though I have to admit I have been tempted to actually start on shapechanging lessons. Everyone in this family seems to have a pair of wings or at least the capability of flying, except for your brothers. Makes me want to join.
