Right, so, Christmas? I assume, given how many of us seem to come from the same place, that it is recognized as a time of celebration here aboard the station. Are there any plans or local traditions of which one ought to be aware?

	Well, we tend to have our own traditions. Being a staunch Catholic myself, I attend whatever mass that Father Tinney holds, then I watch my son open his presents, and contemplate opening my own. Santa has a habit of leaving things that are a little heart rending. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	If you aren't the type that likes people to see you shed a tear, it's best done when you are alone. But, even in circumstances like that it's nice to have someone to cuddle... In the non-biblical way. I'm sorry I sort of dropped off grid just after we first met. The man I was seeing... he vanished a few days after, and I've been in mourning. It used to be an event. There used to be a huge tree in the center of the island, and everybody would have a gift under the tree, sometimes it was big, sometimes it was small, but it's usually something from home something that you were missing that didn't come with you when you got here.

But now we have the little trees in our apartments, and that's where our gifts are. If they fit. If they don't there will usually be a red ribbon tied to a branch that will lead you out to it.

	Oh, usually there are some of those too. Most of the station-dwellers are pretty sneaky. If they don't want to give he presents to your face they sneak in and leave them under your tree. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I always enjoyed giving gifts in person, particularly when it was something I knew they would not want or appreciate. The look in a person's eyes when they are supremely annoyed but must maintain a look of joy for the sake of civility is a wonderful thing. But I can see the advantages of escaping unseen. 	I... like to go the more thoughtful route, and sometimes I like to see the persons face, but others I think my face would just explode because of my blushing problem. So I like to not take the risk and go unseen. Unless it's my boyfriend, then I might just take the risk, or chicken out and hide behind a pillow or under a blanket or something of that nature. A lot of them were adopted by the christians for Christmas. The 'Christmas tree' was once the Yule tree.

But I have an alter already and that is where I meditate, as well, it will be made more festive. The goat... I think instead of sacrificing it, I will simply gift one to Thor. We give presents, usually nature based, and give back to nature, I already have a few old seeds that I would like to see if AJ could plant. There's burning of the Yule log, and the celebration of candlelight. And the feasting of course.

I just want any member of our "family" to be there for these Holidays. You and Edward are invited...

Bryn's godson, Blank, and our friend, Bonnie were both taken by Higgs' group. They need something to lift their spirits, just as we all do at this moment.

Bryn will think I am trying to get together with her again if I came to her, but I am very happy where I am.

Don't trouble yourself with any trepidation when it comes to extending invitations, mate. I am aware enough of the situation not to be particularly bothered, and I certainly don't jump to the assumption that there ought to be any issue between Edward and I and yourself. We find it prudent to follow our lady's lead when it comes to matters of her family and her past, so far she hasn't expressed any notable negative feeling or displeasure so I see no problem.

Good of you to be so concerned with the well-being of your friends. If I can help in any way, especially if that way includes the excuse to eat and drink and make merry, I would be happy to do so.

I find having a cooler head always prevailed. We have never spoken before, and I just wanted to clear the air, to be honest. I am glad we can see eye to eye on this. ~~If you hurt he~~

As I stated before, after what they went through, I believe they need something like this. Blank, more than anything, I am unsure of his mental health at the moment. Normally he would do something like spamming the network with Christmas songs.
