Would anyone be terribly offended if I dubbed the station Texas?

I wasn't talking about that kind of white, I wont get a halo anyway. I'm Norse. We go to Valhalla if there is honor in our deaths, and we will drink with the gods and share stories of our battles.

I don't expect one either, I will probably say the wrong thing to St. Peter and be kicked straight into the lake of fire. Valhalla requires dying in battle, doesn't it?

Yes. That's one of the reasons I never say no to a battle, and go into one ready to give it my all.

And what happens to those that are simply too skilled to fall in battle?

They live? Or they go into battle when they are deathly ill, or old enough to be infirm and give it their all. You'd be surprised with how much respect they got from the opposing side. If it wasn't Christian.

Oh, I'm sure I'd be surprised by quite a lot. Not a fan of Christianity?

Em, more the christians than christianity? Women don't get very much respect, and are expected to be little soft things that don't know how to defend themselves. And for a long time they weren't allowed to know how to read.

I always liked the story of Judith and Holofernes, but I understand that isn't a popular story for specific reasons. A lot of the opponents of women's suffrage have couched it in religious arguments, or did. I'm sorry, I have been trying to keep myself from looking up anything I've missed, I'm hoping that whole mess was resolved.

It has been a while since I read the book, it was still in Latin, so I don't remember Judith and Holofernes. But a lot of religious leaders want women to cow to them, even though Eve was not made from a bone in Adam's foot, but from one of his ribs in his side. I remember that part.

He was drunk and took her into his tent because he desired her, he fell asleep and she cut off his head.

Ah well, as they say, nothing is true.

Eh, I don't know, I could see that one being true. Especially if she didn't desire him so much.

Not exactly what I meant, but unsurprisingly I am no biblical scholar. From what I remember she was a beautiful widow and he was an enemy general who had come to destroy her city.

Ah, then she was a very wise woman. And I'm sorry to say, Jacob, but you men don't tend to be all that smart when it comes to a certain look.

Oh I don't even need the look, I just a friendly disposition and instantly I am incredibly stupid.

I'm not quick to jump into bed, Bryn, that doesn't mean I'm not easily lead around by a pretty face.
