Usually it's one mistake that keeps sending ripples back (and I assume, forward, although I've never yet gone forward past my age accidentally). I miscalculated once about six months ago (for me), but it's affecting multiple people in the years between everyone arriving on the station and my current year. I haven't yet been able to work out a safe way of fixing the mistake without creating a paradox, I'm afraid.
