Has anyone laid claim to the portal?

I would like to know how to lay the souls of demons to rest. My compassion for the dead does not allow me to stand idly by.

Rip them apart and make sure they do not come back. Or just rip them apart if the other is impossible.

Cutting them off from the source of their power and then cutting off their heads seems to work, though making sure they do not return is a touch more difficult.

It depends on the demon. Neron, when the forces of purgatory invaded hell, was turned into a soul-less human, losing the power of the souls he had consumed over the centuries, and ended up beheaded. It killed him and he lost his right to rule, yet he managed to return, likely because he was killed in hell and even dead he had access to the aspects of hell that allowed him to heal himself.

I would advise against that line of thinking. Pocket universes, if you have the ability to create them, might be more efficient.

I have one that you can borrow. Maybe two. I can't promise anything on either, this isn't my world and they aren't demons from my world. Just promise me if you run into a demon named Alistair, stab him in the balls and twist?

In my world they kill demons. But if they're possessing vessels, which I don't know this hell and I don't plan on knowing this hell but I don't imagine they are, it kills the vessel too.

And I want the blades back when you're done.
