Right now that I'm back to normal, I've got something I want to share with you lot. Thanks to Sarah, I've managed to work on something that might help, aside from the traps. I've used some of the crystals she gave me as part of a ritual, and imbued them with a protection spell. They bear one of the Seals of Solomon. The Fourth Pentacle of the Sun. It enables the owner to see others as they really are, not as they pretend to be. When the seal in the vicinity of friend or foe, their true thoughts and secret heart will be opened. I've altered it slightly to help against this Pennywise tosser and it's illusions.

The necklace should light up slightly in the presence of Pennywise and it's tricks. And it should allow the wearer to see through the illusion. I've put up pictures of the seal and the necklaces. Anyone who wants one can have one.

How do they work with shapechangers? My stag does the same but if my Mum or my Dad simply change form, then it doesn't do anything. That is how they truly are at that moment.

"It enables the owner to see others as they really are, not as they pretend to be", and that's where the alterations came in to play. The seal reacts to their false form. It won't change them, but the person wearing the necklace should be able to see a difference in the shapechanger.

Honestly, I don't know mate. In a sense I suppose you would be seeing both forms. The shapeshifting is still something I can deal with if you need me to.

I've tried testing one of them out. I saw past the illusion I saw. The necklace lit up but the illusion didn't respond. It was like it couldn't see the light from the necklace. The illusion form sort of shifted and I caught a glimpse of something beneath it.

They'll see through your shifted form but they'll still see your cat form at the same time. It's complicated.
