Hi, I'm Steve.

This radio phone computer is weird. Why is it so small? Actually, don't answer that.

I read the thing about the door to Atlanta in 2019. That is some crazy shit right there, just saying.

I don't know what else to say on this thing, so bye, I guess?

Hi, Steve. I’m Ciaran. What year are you from?

1985. What about you?

You’re not as out of time as some, but yeah technology has come on a fair bit since then. You’ll pick it up. Have you met Bill? I think he’s from around them too.

I’m from 2019.

I haven't met Bill yet, no.

Like the door to Atlanta. Okay.

He’s a cool kid.

Yeah, but that doors “some crazy shit” for me too. Just not for technological or time travel reasons.

I'll say hi if I meet him.

Why is it crazy for you? The whole "walking through a door into a completely different city" thing?

Yeah, there’s that, and also the whole werewolves and vampires and who knows what else going on there.

Oh, yeah, deadly serious.

I guess these aren’t normal things in your world, either?

Hey, Sophia. I'm okay, yeah. Still a bit bruised but I'll survive. How're you?

I'm good. I'm thinking of adventuring out through the door, but I haven't worked up the nerve yet.

The bruises are probably on the yellow side by now aren't they? I have some cover up that'll make them impossible to see under the brightest light, if you want to go.

Why, what's up with the door?

The bruises are yellow and green and all kinds of gross colors. But sure, I'll go with you.

I haven't been to Atlanta in more than eight years, and it wasn't a fun time when I did. Is the 2019 the scary part for you?

Hey I hear camo is in, and you've got it without the scratchy material?

With me? Really?

It's 34 years in the future. And apparently it has werewolves and vampires That is crazy.

Camo and sunglasses is one hell of a look.

Why wouldn't I go to Atlanta with you?

It is. But it's not as weird as being out in space. Plus I'm sure they still have some of the buildings that were around in 1985. It's only the tech that's really changed.

Yep. And everyone will absolutely wonder what the other guy looked like.

Well there are lots of girls there, and I could be cramping your style?

I don't think so. You wouldn't cramp anybody's style. Besides, I don't own any future clothes. I'm going to be 34 years out of date.

Some of the 80s clothes are back in style. So you'd be absolutely retro. But I could show you around the shops if you'd rather pick something more modern.

What's wrong with a regular computer, why does it. Need to be so small.
