Hello. My name is Adèle. I love music and to sing, but the songs I know are very old songs by now. I have been listening to new music, and I have discovered many new songs, but there is so very much to search through.

I would like it very much if people would be able to tell be some of their favourite songs or artists.

Mr Rochester has given me permission to ask this as long as I say also that I am 11 years old. (I am 12 next month if that makes a difference, but he did not tell me to say that part.)

	I like classical music - Forqueray. Schubert. Bach. Chopin. Beethoven. Mozart. Satie. Anything I can play on harpsichord or piano. I guess you could say I'm really old school. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Oh, wow. Genuine old school. I'm from 2014. No musicians in my family. I did have a sort of foster father who loved music though. He taught me to play harpsichord. I think they were after your time. My fav of Satie is Fantaisie-valse. It's piano music. And Chopin has so much; it's hard to pick a favourite. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Hello Adele! I'm Maryanne. Being 12 next month is very important. I'm 33, and I have ten children under 10.

When I was your age, I adored a man named Garth Brooks. You might like music by him. Sound of Silence by Disturbed is one of my current favorites, though Mr. Rochester might not like you listening to more of their music than that song. And I can agree with a lot of Dan's list. Though I'll throw in N'sync and Backstreet boys. And apologize to your guardian later.

My list is good, that's why. But it's incomplete!

Lynyrd Skynyrd. Led Zeppelin. Queen (so my dad won't get upset at me not suggesting them). Susanna Hoffs is good too, so that's The Bangles as well as her solo career. Pink Floyd. The Foo Fighters, they make funny videos for their songs as well.

I should stop or I'll just be copying out all the music on my laptop.

	I have two that are adults. I love all twelve, but I've only carried eight of them. It's not that he'll disapprove, I don't think, but they're boy bands, and they were very swoon worthy when I was your age. And the songs are very catchy. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I think everyone is forgetting one of the best parts of being a teenage girl. You should try some artists like P!nk, Britney Spears, The Spice Girls, Destiny's Child, TLC, The Veronicas, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, and Beyonce. There's also a very good singer with the same name as yours, she just goes by Adele and she has lots of really great songs. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Thank you! I have heard Ariana Grande already, and I love her. Mr Rochester does not love her. He says she is nauseating and repulsive! But he says a lot of silly things.
