I do not know how much you know about my situation, but you are welcome to look at Dr Morgan’s notes. I arrived on this station without the use of my sight, and my left hand was amputated some time ago.
Just over a fortnight ago, Dr Morgan completed an operation to provide me with as prosthetic eye that has been very successful, and I can now happily refer to myself as partially sighted rather than completely blind.
At that time, he also operated on the left arm to tidy up the rather uncivilised job of the surgeons of my own era. This was with the intention of working with a prosthetic hand, provided by Dr O’Hara, once it had healed correctly. I was supposed to return for Dr Morgan to see how the arm had healed on Monday just past, but as you know, he was no longer here.
I apologise if I am simply repeating facts you already knew about, but I felt the clearer the information the better for you.
