Oh wow. We saved the world twice already? Well, I guess I should tell my time that they have it wrong then. The world can't possibly on the brink of self-destruction because Peter Petrelli saved the world twice already by two thousand and fucking seven.

Life goes on, Peter. New problems, new crises, new morons turning it all to shit. A lot can happen in four years.

He's fine. Turns out he didn't have to die.

In my time, he didn't get shot. He told the world about what we are and what we can do. They started hunting us down. Experimenting on us. Slaughtering us.

We chose to fight it but Nathan betrayed us. He's the president now, you know. He could stop it all but he doesn't. He sanctions it. He chose the wrong side.

So I had to stop it happening. I had to stop him.
