That's very impressive, and in that case you're doing exceptionally well. Keeping a dictionary close is always sound advice. English is a slippery language.

((I didn't catch it on first read, either! Then I did and knew Ernest Bloody Hemingway definitely would.))

Silent letters I can get, I mean there are words that I know after I sound them out. I'm not sure about them, so I look them up to be sure. Also... I didn't have French where I'm from.

I can't cook, and I'm horrible with kids, but I can clean and chop wood. And hunt.
