I'm fine though, so are all the kids. It's gotten cold, I've just turned the furnace on.

I just needed a few minutes to connect to the network. It's never done that before. There do not seem to be any changes on the contact list, however.

The electricity is acting up. We might want to build a fire in the fireplace just to make sure we have at least one room that's warm if power goes out completely.

I don't know. It doesn't feel like it. It's dark outside. It shouldn't be this dark. The garden is all wrong too. But I found Yuey and Trouble. They are fine.

These are not the plants I planted. For example, remember the banana tree, yeah? It's dead. But there are different plants that have taken the place instead. I've got to take a closer look later on.

Already done that, love. I don't trust this either.

Strange. Though I'm not surprised at the banana tree with it being as cold as it is, maybe we were asleep longer than we thought.

I couldn't really sleep. Not when Jake and the kids are out there, you know. It was very sudden. It was already quite bright outside and then, suddenly, it wasn't anymore.

I will. Let me check the rest of the house, the shack and Herbert.

Okay, don't panic but there is a small crocodile in our pool. The door to the garden is broken open, it must have got in through there.

Getting some wood now and then I'm ready to lock myself into this house for all eternity. I have enough of this weird shit.

I don't know, I've been in the Rogers' cottage. One minute the day was just going on as usual and next thing we knew it was dark and cold. Out heat and electric are working but only some of the water seems to be running and it's not clear. All of the animals seem to be alright, if a little spooked, but Peg's garden is all overgrown or dead.

Our garden looks the same. The kind of plants have changed. They might just be better adapted to the conditions. Let's hope that one of the fighting crew is going to get back to us soon.

She's back now, showed up in the middle of things. Wouldn't leave my side until she passed out, poor thing.

I haven't heard for sure but I think everyone lived. I've been a little slow today, maintaining the wards wore me out.

There was a great war where I was. The second shadow war. It was really the third, and there were so many others at war too. It's complicated.

It certainly sounds like it! That's two of my children sent off to wars now, I don't like it.

I don't think so? The spire is half collapsed and it moved everyone forward in time a year and a half. I haven't left the house yet since it happened so I can't say for sure. Probably though, I can't imagine he'd stop after everything he threw at us before it blew.
