So...who is the Amanda who won me in auction...

And what exactly does it mean that she won me in auction?

I mean, I appreciate it and all...and I wanted to do good for charity...but I'm not exactly sure what I've gotten myself into here...

	I was simply trying to turn him down in a polite manner. Perhaps it would have been better if I'd simply come out and said "No, you're an arse and I don't want to."? Because that wouldn't have been immature at all, right? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Oh yes, because passive aggressiveness screams polite. It would have been honest, at the very least. Give him a break. He didn't understand what he'd signed up for, and he was asking for clarification on what was expected of him. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	And I explained that I expected nothing from him. In the very beginning. I didn't want him to feel uncomfortable with the situation. But suddenly I'm the bad guy and I'm throwing a pity party all because I tried to politely decline. (Reply to this) (Parent)
