Hey island!

Do you remember my idea about multicultural nights - http://asylums.insanejournal.com/compass_network/1290086.html ?

I think it's time we got them started, with a potluck dinner. In about a month? That should give us plenty of time to pick a place, and decide what to bring.

It would be simple - bring a dish that's from your home and we'll have a big dinner, trying new foods. Or if you're a born-here islander, bring a dish that reflects your background or your favourite island treat. Us Sullys might all end up bringing pie, so we need variety from the rest of you. :)

Everyone is welcome. If you need a specific ingredient, ask around - someone may know where to get it on the island or know a good substitute. If you don't cook, give me a recipe and I'll see if one of the many talented people on the island that do cook can help out. Or bring napkins or drinks or something. Or help set up or stay around and help with the dishes.

It'll be a fun night. What do you say, island?
