And it keeps going. James and I had to go into hiding. There was a prophecy that our son would be the one to defeat Voldemort. We had to decide who to trust with the information on where we were and, well, some people thought you were one of those that we couldn't trust. But when we went into hiding, well, we trusted the wrong person anyway.

Voldemort found us. And before I was brought here, he killed James and...if I had been there seconds more I would be dead too. I am dead, in our time.
