Where am I?

I know this isn't Yavin IV.

I'm not even certain how I got here.

That's very strange. I didn't know everyone on Yavin IV, so I can't say anything on that part, but the rest is strange. Leia has been part of the New Republic government since its beginning, and she was its High Councillor for a while, but she hasn't been doing any military work for a long time. The only military member of her family now is her daughter, Jaina, who's with Rogue Squadron. We continued to fight the Imperial Remnant for a time, but then we were able to sign a peace treaty. The invasion came a few years later.

Master Obi-Wan said there was someone here who might know more about what's going on...I was intrigued by the time travel, but maybe this Doctor can explain this as well.

Yours is strange to me too. Parts of it anyway. The General was part of the New Republic but Senate wouldn't listen to her warning about the First Order, so she ended up forming the Resistance. I was with the New Republic to begin with but she recruited me personally. And my mother was assigned missions with both the General and yourself.

Obi-Wan explained things to me initially when I first arrived. If he says this Doctor may know then he's probably right.

I hope so. Someone just said there is some way people come here from alternate timelines. It's hard to think of our galaxy existing in more than one reality, but I guess anything is possible. It might explain why we've had such different history.

We never had anything by that name, First Order. Leia has gotten irritated at the politics of the New Republic at times, but they haven't ever ignored her completely.

I certainly hope so. I'm starting to get a headache making sense of all this.
