So I got a song stuck in my head, and instead of trying to get rid of it, I just went with it.

I might have gone a little overboard.

Yeah, the threat of having a pair of black eyes would keep me from running too. I had yours in mind when I did my boobs though. But the balloons kept popping.

I thought I had balloons stuck under my skin the way they grew.

But yeah, I can't run even if I wanted to.

I remember. I'm surprised you can actually swim under the water in your current condition.

Duct tape could help? If you really wanted to that is.

Hardy har har. Trust me, these things are heavy out of the water.

More like they create drag and slow me down a bit, but I'm so much faster now than before I had a tail.

Well I'd need legs first. Maybe if I used three or four sport bras one on top the other...

I believe you! You could suffocate someone with those.

In the water, anyway.

Probably more like five or six...

My deadliest weapons.

Yes. Out of the water, well 'the phrase 'fish out of water' does fit.

I stopped trying after a while and switched to swimming for my cardio, prophetic I guess.

Distracting and deadly, they're awesome weapons.

I think someone will come up with something that works eventually. I'd say me, but I'm not the makey-thingies sort of guy.

Yeah, probably a little prophetic.

Not awesome enough to catch you back in the day, but Mary already had your heart.

Eventually. I know mom is working on something, and Micha said she asked Uncle Tony to manufacture something she designed in the future. I guess he needs to add some equipment to his lab first.

Yup.

Sorry, she served me my first mudpie. And you know what they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

Yeah, maybe it's stuff from the future?

Oh I know, that was one of the reasons I learned everything I could from Aunt Sookie. :). Besides the fact I enjoyed spending time with her and learning about cooking in the first place.

Could be!

Because of Mary's mudpies?

I wish I knew what he needed, but...

No silly, the 'way to a man's heart is through his stomach' thing.

It's ok Stevie. Thanks anyway.

Do you miss it?

I know JR and your Sisters are probably missing you.

A little. Hopefully everything will get figured out and I'll either get legs again or able to move around on land. Trying to cook while stuck in a wheelchair isn't very practical.

It isn't like I never see them!

Have you tried doing it on the beach? I could probably come build you a grill if you want.

I know but you see them less than you did, I bet.

No need for that. I'm learning how to do spellsongs, that'll let me heat things up to cook them.

Considering I'm not staying at the house anymore, yeah.

Well, isn't it...

Yup. Apparently there are spellsongs for all sorts of things but I'm starting with that first.

Isn't it what?

Cool, so you're a full blown magical creature now, huh?

Painful? I miss my mom</i>

I guess?

It could be worse, I could not have them back here in the past with me at all.

It's not stuff you had from your Mom?

I guess you have a point.

If it is it's been lying dormant all these years until I found a way to let it out.

Yup! I do miss being back when we were supposed to be from time to time, but at least a lot of us are here.

Maybe that's it? Or maybe you're a sparkly mermaid.

I miss Mom. And Mouse.
