I would like to publicly wish a very happy 1st birthday to our Queen Mouse. And she says thank you to everyone for her cards and presents and well wishes.

If you want, I could drop by and take a few family pictures on her special day.

That would be lovely, thank you. One of the whole family would be much appreciated.

Sure. Are you going to have a big party for her? Then I can come a little later.

Not a big party no, we just wanted something smaller, a few close friends and her godparents. Photographs would be lovely.

I'm sure it's the nicer option for a one year old.

I hate to ask this but I'd rather not run into Maryanne. I'm not sure I can keep a happy face if I see her and I don't want to ruin your girl's party. If she isn't there, I'm happy to take a few pictures of party as well, otherwise I'll just take a few lovely portraits later.

I'll have to double check with Steve and Bucky, and I'll let you know. I have no idea what's wrong with her these days, there's too much pain already to be holding such grudges

Thank you. That is very kind. I did not expect such a reaction.

It's not the grudges that bug me. It's her ego which I deem both unsuitable and dangerous in a place like this. Especially for a mother and a wife. She insulted me because I told her that fearing my father's temper is quite healthy.

I don't approve of all my friends actions, no matter who they are. I have my own mind and your father is a man to be feared when provoked.

She seems intent on provoking him, sadly. I can only hope he does not give in to the prodding because someone will end up paying a dear price. Perhaps I should talk to her.

That's something you should be proud of. I have met enough people who cannot make that distinction. Maryanne seems to think that disagreeing with her means that you are the worst possible friend.

It is not only that. She thinks she has control over everything. No, not everything. She said that she knows that he can kill her family but then he would have to face her and she would only ever cease to breath when she decides that it is her last breath because she has more fight in her than anyone he's ever met.

She's irrational in her believes and she clearly has the wrong priorities for a mother. I do not expect my father to even consider giving his life for me but I do believe that his priority would be to keep me alive and not to eventually win. Not that I think she can win against my father.

You can talk to her but I am not sure she will listen. I do not want her or my father to start a war in this place and I cannot see it ending any other way if she continues to behave and think like this.
