I was six! That's eleven years ago!

...wait. Nine years from now...

Whatever. I was six.

Isn't the function of a microwave essentially doing science?

Technically, yeah. All cooking is.

I tried to make plasma with a bunch of grapes in the microwave when I was six. The microwave kind of... died. A lot.

Cooking is chemistry. Microwave is engineering.

That's adorable!

Nobody else thought so! There was broken glass and maybe a small fire, and my magic went a bit funny because I panicked and I was just a kid, so instead of the microwave being a bit dead, it was fried.

Probably. Nobody wants plasma in their movie popcorn, I guess.

No, I wouldn't think so. Truffle salt and parmesan is much better in popcorn.
