I think, at this point, I'll be happy if it's okay.

I don't think there's much to look at yet.

You got hit by friendly fire right? Even when your body's normal, it goes into hyperdrive when you're pregnant. God, Mouse drained me in the first three months.

Yeah. I didn't think much of it, just threw something on to keep it from bleeding all over and kept going. Turns out that was not enough. Probably explains why all I'm doing is sleeping and trying not to lose my lunch.

Ginger tea and crackers worked for me, but that was just morning sickness and not septic shock.

Well, I'm on antibiotics for that, already been a week. I'll try some of that stuff either way.

I still can't believe I'm having this conversation...

No, not...I'm definitely grateful. It just, I don't know, none of it feels real, I cant believe this is a thing I even need to think about.

It won't feel real for a while, honey. Not until you hear that first heartbeat on the sonogram

That's not for a while though right? I'm only 7 weeks.

Earliest you can hear it is 8 weeks, if you're slender and the baby's strong.

I'd recommend hearing it as soon as possible. Everyone seems to shut up about the little things.
