This charm you spoke of seems to be wasted on me.

Maybe, but we can hope not. He is a good man after all.

You skipped my question.

That's a memory that I haven't gotten back yet. Not completely. I remember Lillian.

There is a movie... If you want a kick to the cranium, without an actual kick to the cranium.

A movie? About us?

Well, it's more about Steve, but we're in it.

I don't know.

It could ring some bells. At the very least remind you of Dumdum.

I don't know.

I killed Howard Stark. I murdered him.

Yeah I got that part. He was a good man. I didn't swing in his circles, but Steve liked him.

Are you sorry you did it?

I do regret it, yes.

If you could go back and change things, would you?

Yes, I would. He was not the man they led me to believe. Which was the case most of the time.

HYDRA were tricky bastards like that. But you have the regret, and things like that down. The only thing we can't do is change the past.

I'll poke around see if Stark knows. If he does, then you can go about making amends.

How exactly does someone make amends for killing someone else's parents?

I don't know. Go out of your way to make his life easier. Apologizing is a start. Explain that you'd change things if you could. I don't know that telling him it was orders would help though.

Most people don't seem to care if it was just following orders.

No, because most when they're following orders have a choice to do or don't do. You didn't have a choice. I'm pretty sure a lot of people here would understand that.

If I did not complete a mission, regardless the reason, I was tortured. So you can imagine what would happen if I had refused to follow orders.

Yeah I have an idea. I remember what their torture felt like.
