Of course. Briefly, then. We are on a space station that is seemingly outside of time. You could spend a day here, or ten years here, and when you get sent back by whatever has brought us here, you will return to the exact point in time where you were to begin with.

We do not know where this station is in relation to anyone's homes, so we cannot simply take over one of the ships and fly home, because we have no maps that would enable us to do so.
We have supplies and places to stay here, homes, even. There is nobody here who will harm you.

You mentioned a few names. Could you repeat them and I will check to see if anyone by that name is here?

Of course. The station is very big, but there are not very many people who live here compared to its size. It orbits a large gas giant, and there are many small spaceships all throughout the station. There is one central spine, and there are five wheels around this spine. Each wheel, and both ends of the spine have large parks full of all sorts of plants and some very interesting animals.

The wheels have all sorts of different areas within them; they mainly have apartments in them, but there are shopping areas, smaller parks and viewing areas, and there is a large area in the main wheel that is designated as a university. You have already found the food court, which is where a lot of people go for their meals.

There are perhaps a hundred people living here, and everyone is very helpful. Some people have gifts like you and I do, some people have what they consider to be magic, and other people have no magic or gifts. Not everyone comes from the same place, but we all work together when required.

	They are, yes. Before I lived here, I lived in a desert where no plants grow and there's very little rain or water at all. There were hardly ever any clouds, not even at night. I used to wait until it was dark, and then go up onto my roof and watch the stars. They were beautiful. I found it very calming. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
