[Dan's voice is soft and monotone, like when he talks in his sleep. He's obviously outside, though. Birdsong can be heard, people talking and calling to each other, and a few cars can be heard in the background, although they're very faint]

This place is rotting from the inside out. Looks normal, looks nice, but it's just a shell, a false face, and it's built on death and lies. The core is wrong. All wrong.

It's hard to say why Derry wasn't the way it is now. Perhaps Pennywise was dormant, or perhaps they had ended him. All I know is that it's not safe for you. If they notice, if others [She stressed this word] notice you or Abra or Jack, you could all be in danger.

I'm done with back alleys I'm going to the DMV and getting you out of here, and down to Florida. You should go pack your things and be ready. Please, please for my sanity don't come back through without being warded, or until I have everything in order.
