I'd rather have people remember him as my Papa, for loving me and Will, and for helping his patients here.

Not that much. I always thought there was more to him than what was obvious but I was never quite sure what it was.

There are too many people who want to play judge and jury. It reminds me of people back home wanting to lock me up for what my dad did and what he made me do.

Papa was complicated. I believe he loved me even when he cut my throat.

There are indeed. But I also found that a lot are quite reasonable and do not want to bring the pot to boil over, you know.
