Cerise stood outside the cafeteria with a slight frown on her face. She had made a few laps of the grounds so far trying to orient herself and thankfully she'd gotten quite good at it, but it looked like - from the network that she'd read through earlier - that Zeke wasn't here either. This facility was just like the last; filled with people, littered with drama. She wasn't all that interested in getting involved in it. She just wanted to survive, keep her head down, find Zeke and somehow get out. She was curious as to the people here, though, she'd learned a lot from the Dakota facility. She thought she'd seen Monarch's name, or Ben, as he had preferred to be called, along with a few others that she'd crossed paths within the facility, on the network and had considered reaching out to them but changed her mind at the last minute. Folding the map she'd been given at her orientation neatly into half, then half again, she slid it into her inside pocket and moved to grab herself a coffee and a pastry from the coffee shop area and settled on a table in the corner, eyes watching the movement of people through the facility, looking for groups, looking for people who might be worth getting to know, that might have an influence she could leverage to get information on where Zeke was, on what was actually going on here. She held the cup in both hands and glanced up when someone approached. She hadn't been here long enough to even recognise faces, so she was somewhat surprised that she'd been approached so quickly. Still, it was what it was. Archery gloves on her hands protected people from her powers for the most part, but she still wasn't a huge fan of physical contact. "Hi?" she settled on after a moment. In the other facility, she hadn't ever really been approached, she'd just sort of kept to herself and watched. Apparently, the people here were more... forward. She took a sip of her coffee and not for the first time wished she was better at the whole... socialising thing without first being given a gentle nudge. |
