"At least you're both in the same facility." Cerise nodded, "And probably means that you're both more likely to do as you're told, since you're together. And if she's able to help you settle, that's even better."
Sometimes, when she spoke to people about siblings, she felt a stab in her chest. She never really got the chance to share things with her sister, not really. Following... whatever had happened that meant their father effectively absconded with her to teach her how to be a spy, Cerise's sister had all but vanished. She was still carrying so much anger about that, even if she'd seen the safety deposit box and the contents, taken it all.
Her hand lifted to touch the key she still wore around her neck. It was underneath her shirt, pressed against her skin, but it was there, a weight, a reminder of what she'd lost because she had nothing else with her here.
"Don't really remember there being any sibling pairs," she said honestly. "There were a few people who were very close to one another, but they were not related. Those kind of bonds, though, I suppose form through teams and spending time together as much as anything else."
She tipped her head. "There was a husband and wife team that were separated and never put on missions together, though, because they were deemed a liability."
